ABOUT THE FOUNDATION
The From Kings and Queens Foundation is dedicated to supporting children, teens, and young adults as they navigate the complexities of grief. The foundation’s mission is rooted in the belief that no young person should have to face grief alone. We provide mentorship and scholarships designed to empower individuals through their personal grief journeys, reminding them of their inherent worth and the strength of their heritage. Through our work, we honor the legacies of loved ones and offer hope, healing, and encouragement to rise above adversity.
THE BOOK
"When I was a senior in college, my father passed away, changing the trajectory of my life forever. However, his legacy, impact, and wisdom illuminated my path. This book is inspired by my father, my guardian angel, and Superman, who always reminded me of my worth and heritage, telling me that I come from kings and queens. He taught me to hold onto this truth during challenging times. I wrote this book to help children understand their value and the special role of guardian angels in facing adversity.”
THE SCHOLARSHIP
The Napoleon B. Johnson III Scholarship, established in loving memory of a father whose legacy was marked by unwavering strength, wisdom, and compassion, aims to uplift and support young individuals facing grief. This scholarship embodies Napoleon’s belief in the power of resilience and the importance of embracing one’s worth and heritage. Through this initiative, the From Kings and Queens Foundation honors his legacy by empowering children, teens, and young adults to navigate their grief journeys and pursue their dreams with confidence and hope.
